Ottawa-based contemporary folk outfit Moonfruits is very excited to launch their new album, ‘Salt’, at Red Bird Live. A labour of love whose guiding theme is transformation, ‘Salt’ is the band’s most fulsomely orchestrated work. For this very special performance, Moonfruits will be accompanied by a whole chamber orchestra, including strings, horns, back-up singers and very special guest Éveline on harp, who will also open up the night.

Red Bird is a new gem in Ottawa’s cultural landscape. Open since February of this year, it’s a folk-first listening room in the heart of Old Ottawa South. This is going to be a sweet, intimate setting in which to see the full breadth of ‘Salt’ played live, end-to-end.
