Savourez ce concert folk en plein air mettant en vedette deux duos extraordinaires - l'un Yukonnais, l'autre Ontarois!

Le premier duo est formé des Yukonnais MARC TANNAHILL & SOPHIE VILLENEUVE qui sont de retour en force après un arrêt musical pandémique! Ils vous offriront un mélange d'interprétations et de chansons originales, en français et en anglais. Caractérisés par leurs harmonies vocales riches, leur connection musicale et leur habileté à passer d'un instrument à l'autre, ils ne risquent pas de vous décevoir!

Le deuxième duo est nulle autre que MOONFRUITS directement arrivés de l'Ontario! De passage exceptionnel à Whitehorse en juillet, c'est une occasion unique de les entendre! Moonfruits est créateur d’un folk contemporain qui adresse notre humanité avec cœur, esprit et émerveillement. Mené par conjoints-complices Alex Millaire et Kaitlin Milroy, Moonfruits chevauche français et en anglais tant par leur plume que sur scène, une réflection de leur jour-le-jour à Ottawa. Guitare, banjo, glockenspiel et des harmonies parfois envoûtantes, parfois retentissantes sont au rendez-vous dans chacune de leurs univers-chansons.

• Débute @ 7 PM (porte 6:30 PM)

• Directions: 17 Arnhem

- Stationnement: nous vous invitons à vous stationner à l'aréna de Takhini ou de broomball car l'espace est limité dans la rue

- Le concert sera en plein air - amenez votre chaise ou une couverture ainsi que du chasse-moustique.

- Les enfants sont bienvenus!

- En cas de pluie, l'évènement sera présenté à l'Association Franco-Yukonnaise à l'intérieur. Un courriel vous sera envoyé pour vous en informer si c'est le cas.

Come and enjoy this very unique folk outdoor concert featuring not one, but TWO amazing duos!! One from the Yukon, and the other from Ontario!

First duo: MARC TANNAHILL & SOPHIE VILLENEUVE

After a few years sharing the stage, the duo is characterized by its strong musical connection, interesting vocal harmonies and ability to switch back and forth from an instrument to another. Mixing pop, folk, blues, jazz, french & english, they won't disappoint!

Second duo: MOONFRUITS

Led by Ottawa-based partners Alex Millaire and Kaitlin Milroy—craft contemporary folk, organically alternating between French and English, that addresses our collective humanity with heart, wit, and wonder. This Stingray Rising Star, SOCAN, and Trille Or award-winning group has toured their transportive live show across Canada, the US, France, Belgium, and Germany. They are excited to come to Whitehorse this July and share their music with you!

A few details:

• Show starts @ 7 PM sharp (door @ 6:30 PM)

• Directions: 17 Arnhem in Takhini

• Parking: please park at the Takhini or Broomball arena, as there is limited space in the street. Or even better: walk or bike :)

- Outdoor event: bring a blanket/chair as well as bug spray

- Kids are welcome!

• Alcohol: you can bring your own alcoholic beverages, keeping in mind to be responsible for the drive back
