Doors 6:30 pm | Show 7pm
Ottawa-based folk outfit Moonfruits and forward-looking folk duo Tragedy Ann (Guelph, ON) are so pleased to hit the road for a handful of collaborative co-bill concerts, sharing music from their new albums, ‘Salt’ and ‘Heirlooms’, two harmony-driven collections of songs that are intimate, powerful and transportative.
Expect resounding, heartfelt harmonies with guitar, banjo and pump organ, synth, glockenspiel and singing saw accompaniment. With a pinch of storytelling and some brand new material written by the collective to round out this multilayered bilingual concert, you won’t want to miss it!
Tragedy Ann emanate “…the honesty and enthusiasm of people who can’t help but create and perform.” — Jon Farmer, Georgian Bay Roots
Moonfruits are “a tremendous live act ... they absolutely brought the house down” — Jan Hall, Folk Roots Radio
